In a surprising collaboration that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
